Know your numbers
True wellness covers mind, body and habit. Start with the numbers — your BMI, the calories your body burns at rest, and what to eat for your goal.

What you’ll get
Three numbers that
actually matter
- BMI
- Where your weight sits against your height, and which band that falls in.
- BMR
- The calories your body burns doing nothing at all — breathing, thinking, staying warm.
- TDEE & target
- What you burn on a normal day, and what to eat to lose, hold or gain.
- Macros
- A protein, fat and carbohydrate split to build that target into real meals.

What the numbers mean
Body mass index compares your weight to your height. Below 18.5 is underweight, 18.5–24.9 is the healthy range, 25–29.9 is overweight and 30 or above is classed as obese. It is a screening number, not a diagnosis.
BMI cannot tell muscle from fat. A well-trained lifter can read as “overweight” while carrying very little body fat. That is exactly why we run a body-composition analysis on every new member instead of relying on BMI alone.
BMR is what your body burns at complete rest just keeping you alive. TDEE multiplies that by your activity level — it is the number of calories that keeps your weight steady. Eat below it to lose, above it to gain.
A deficit of around 500 kcal a day is roughly half a kilo of fat loss a week and is sustainable. For lean muscle gain, a surplus of 300–400 kcal with enough protein and progressive training works far better than eating everything in sight.
